well, somewhat. thanks for asking. i hope ya'll are OK.
4/15/09 i was meeting a buddy of mine at the bar around 2:00 in the afternoon to take him to watch my DD play in a game about 80 miles from us. when he got to the bar, he said that he couldn't go. he said he had alot on his mind. i said, hell, i'll just hang out with you guys instead of going to the game. no, no, no, he said, go see your kid play! i got a call at 12:40 4/16/09 from the hospital that he passed away.
i knew he had something going on healthwise but he never let on to anybody what it was. doctor said complications from COPD.
not for nothing, but i can't get the thought out of my head of what it could have been like for me driving him down the road, and BAM!, he gets his great reward.
