    My college age son, who is a pitcher, has found that swimming helps both in strength and endurance. It also helps with range of motion.
    His weights workout program is based on a system called "Quest for 90", that I believe originated at Clemson.
    Don't know if this would work for the girls. I would call the college coach you like and ask for their program for their pitchers.

    Absolutely !!

    Our 1st baseman on our high school team joined a swim team over the summer,and her upper body,shoulders, arms increased in mass that now she is pounding the ball,and leads the teams in RBI's !!!
