Why ECU did not search nationally...

    In some ways I can understnad why they never gave a detailed search for a new coach. Now I am not trying to play favorites but I played for Coach Godwin for one year at Louisburg. He is an amazing coach and he knows how to get the best out of every player. We had just finished first in the conference and won the conference tournament so ECU knows he has what it takes to win. He has also sent a lot of players to ECU over the years and so he knows a lot of people and players there. IMO, they gave him this one year to prove himself. You also have to rememeber that they have players that have commited there and so they want to get somebody in there pretty fast so they can keep those commits. I think this is a great opportunity for both Coach Godwin and ECU. But I mean you can obviously contradict me by saying this is a different scenario than Louisburg. But I think that they found a good coach in Coach Godwin. I wish both of luck in the upcoming season and I think he will turn some heads in Greenville.
