WHS vs. MHS

If WHS can beat FHS on tuesday, then the game friday between the Titans and Pioneers will be for 1st place in the NW4A. The Titans are 6-1 and the Pioneers are 5-2 in conference play. The first time these 2 teams met in Marion it went down to the wire with Watauga winning the game. The Titans have not lost a game since then and hope to continue the 6 game winning streak they are on.

 

Key being get by Freedom for Watauga. Without Seth any game is a toss up. We need to avoid bad starts. This team has been plagued by them all season. We started South down 10-2, started the 4th at Alexander down 17, and was down a considerable margin in Marion. Eventually and especially without Seth your not coming back. Amazingly this team has. McDowell has a advantage in that they have the week off. Friday is all the Titans are looking forword too. Watauga has to focus on Freedom. We have already had one battle for first place in the Pioneer dome this year and lost to East 59-58 on a last second miracle shot. Should be fun to watch.

Will Seth be playing friday?

 

Definetly not tonight. I spoke to him yesterday and he said that he felt much better, he is off crutches. He went to rehab yesterday afternoon and said that he would be a gametime decision Friday. If not he would definetly go against ACR next Tuesday.​

Also has anyone noticed that every team in the league except ACR and south has a bye before they play Watauga. So it gives every team extra time off and extra time to scout WHS and be prepared.​

McDowell has a bye tonight, we play them friday
Freedom had a bye Friday, we play them tonight
Alexander didn't have a bye but they had since Tuesday, WHS played East on the Thursday night before
East had a week before playing us
Reynolds did not​
