    Just 2 thoughts:

    1) Anytime a school starts up a new athletic program they tend to struggle for a couple of years. Generally it's from lack of collegiate experience and not so much from talent. Western's first year squad will be very young at best, with 12 freshmen, 3 sophomores, and only 2 juniors.
    2) With all that said, I have heard a lot of good things about this years squad. Like, they had one of the top recruiting classes in the country and a very good coaching staff, lead by HC Megan Smith.

I'm sure it will be a challenging year for the young Lady Catamounts, one with many ups and downs. Here's to their ups being higher than their downs are low.

With a little luck, and if the scheduling works out, maybe I'll be able to see a couple of the games. I'm looking forward to it.

    GO CATS !!!!!

I hope they have a great year, but being a first year team you never know??? I may be able to make some games because my DD has been accepted to WCU!!!!!!!! We went driving around the campus some a couple of weeks ago & it sure has changed since '88 when I gradiated from there.
