WEST ROWAN vs STATESVILLE

    We play Statesville at home this Friday 10-10-2003. Any comments, predictions, etc. would be welcome. Hey, Boxman and Wonder63, what do you think our chances are against the greyhounds? Also, what team is on the wonders schedule for Friday? GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The Wonders play at home against Northwest Cabarrus.
    The Falcons will have NO problem with the Hounds of Statesville.
    Joe will runs wild and your Defense will hold down Cam. Statesvilles has a couple of weaknesses: 1. No Offensive line to block for Cam. 2. Their QB was injured in the game against Brown last week.
    Before we played Statesville last week I told my friend that we would win by at least 2 or 3 TD's. Statesville hasn't impressed me yet this year. Their only quality win was against Davie County BUT Davie lost fumbles around 6 times and had almost triple the yardage. It was a win but the scoreboard doesn't always tell how the game was played.......only the final score and I guess thats all that counts.
    West has a GREAT team this year and will go far into the playoffs.
    Coach Young is a super coach!

    I would call this game an upset based on what I have seen of these 2 teams.
    Tough loss West!!!!!!!!!!
    Super win Statesville! I really didn't think you had it in ya!

    Boxman, congrats on the Wonders victory on Friday night. We play them next week so any thoughts or predictions on our game with the Trogens would be appreciated. However, based on our performance against Stateville this past Friday, you would need to flip a coin to determine which one of our teams will show up for the game. Not to take anything away from the Greyhounds because they fought hard. Their backs ran all over us and their kicking game was great! We had poor defensive execution and miscue after miscue which was apparent by the reactions and disappointment displayed by coach Young. I would not want to be a player at practice on Monday. I'm sure we will regroup and prepare for Norhtwest on Friday. GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
