Visiting Burns got off to a bad start and WR made them pay for it. Burns suffered from shanked punt on their first possession and WR scored on an 8 yd. pass to Hatley. Then on their next possession a fumble by Burns QB Lance Camp set up another WR score. But that drive was not without some WR trickery as Zeb Link ran for a first down on a fake punt. WR FB Chambers scored on a 6 yd. run to make it 14-0 Falcons to end the first quarter. Link again helped his teams cause by picking off a Camp pass via the tip drill to give the ball back to WR. WR RB Wade Moore caught a short pass over the middle and ran 59 yds. for a 21-0 Falcon lead. But the game seemed to turn in Burns' favor as Camp threw a 14 yd, strike to Phelps for their first score but the conversion failed, 21-6 WR. Next, Camp threw to Tuft for 14 yds. for a score and tossed a 2 pt. conversion to Tuft to cut the lead to 21-14 at the half.
The third quarter could have been huge for Burns but they squandered great field position as their defense came up with some WR turnovers. The Falcons fumbled the opening kickoff of the second half but Camp threw an interception on 4th down. WR had a nice pass play but fumbled the ball back to Burns. Burns seemed to stall and was forced into a 2nd down and 30 deep in their own territory. Thats when Camp hit Tuft on a long pass play for a first down but that drive stalled for good when WR held on 4th down inside their 40 yd. line. Wade Moore fumbled on the very next play after that and Burns got the ball back again in good field position at the WR 35. But the WR defense held and a sack on 4th and 7 ended that drive as well for the Bulldogs. In the fourth quarter WR put the game away as Moore ran 49 yds. on an option play and then 29 yds. on a toss sweep to put the game on ice.

sweet. I was the only guy there wearing shorts. I also had a big assed camera on my shoulder. I don't know if I'll be there next week yet.
