USA Baseball Mid-Atlantic NTIS has it's next stop in Raleigh, NC on July 5th/6th and Charlotte on July 6th and 7th.

    Don't miss this opportunity.

Looking for a shot at representing your country? The USA Baseball NTIS program is a first step toward getting invited to the USA Baseball Team Trials. Last year three Team Mid-Atlantic players received invites including Cole Billingsley who went on to play in Mexico for Team USA right from the NTIS event where he won a gold medal for his country!

Registration for Camps and Evaluations for the USA Baseball NTIS program are available on the web at:

2011 USA BASEBALL NTIS REGIONALS HEATING UP
Player registration underway in all 11 regions for 13U, 15U and 17U players

DURHAM, N.C. -- As the baseball calendar begins to heat up, so too is the selection process within USA Baseball’s National Team Identification Series (NTIS) regionals.

This year will mark the third fall in a row that USA Baseball will offer its most comprehensive National Team Identification opportunity in the 13U, 15U and 17U age groups for players aspiring to make the 14U, 16U and 18U National Teams, respectively. And now is the time to register for tryouts in your region.

For a complete list of USA Baseball NTIS Regional information, please click here.

As it was in 2010, the 2011 NTIS promises to be one of the most heavily-scouted and premier events of the fall calendar. The event will consist of three separate age groups and a total of 756 players competing for a chance to be selected for one of USA Baseball’s 2012 trials events. The NTIS will be held at the USA Baseball National Training Complex and adjoining Thomas Brooks Park in Cary, N.C., from Sept. 9-11.

Chris Harvey participated in the 2009 NTIS as a member of the 17U North Atlantic Team. He describes the event as a “great competition with great facilities and many college recruiters on hand to evaluate the talent.”

“The experience was much more than I expected,” Harvey said.

From the three separate 13U/15U/17U age groups, USA Baseball will name a minimum of eight players to the 2012 18U National Team Trials, a minimum of eight players to the 2012 16U National Team Trials, and a minimum of 16 players to the 2012 14U National Team Trials. While the NTIS is designed to supplement the existing programming being done at the 18U and 16U age groups, it will constitute the primary identification opportunity for the 14U National Team.

Harvey’s participation in the 2009 NTIS earned him an invitation to attend the 2010 Tournament of Stars (18U). He credits being recognized in the recruiting process to his involvement with USA Baseball. “The USA Baseball opportunity really helped me get noticed,” said Harvey.

For general program inquiries please contact Adrian Pringle at [email protected] or by calling 919-474-8721 x227.

Still room in the Raleigh and Charlotte events.

Charlotte is almost full. Still a good amount of room in Raleigh. Don't miss out on the opportunity.
