I had the privilege to play in this tournament in 2001(?) and it was an amazing experience. Good luck to all of those down there, you will never forget it.... maybe what year it was but not the actual experience.

    Great Job Panthers

Never give up, never say die........ Way to pull it out in the last inning. I would have liked to see more NC teams in this tourney, but I am glad to see we have some that are doing a great job at representing the state.

Carolina BlueJays won their game yesterday against the Maryland Patriots
11-2. That win puts them in the top 16 bracket. The BlueJays were scheduled to play at 11:00 today against the Florida Bombers

They have cancelled all lower bracket games 33-72 for the rest of the tournament due to rains.

    WOW!!! 11 Inning No-Hitter!!!

South Charlotte Panthers defeat the Texas Stix 1-0 in 11 innings behind a No-Hitter thrown by Corey Roberts(9 inn, 2 BB, 1 HBP) and Chris Fogelman(2 IP). The Panthers scored their lone run on a suicide squeeze with the bases loaded, one out and a 1-2 count on the batter in the bottom of the 11th. Gutsy call coach!

Panthers advance to the final 16 and face a stout Orlando Baseball Academy team at 4pm. No rest for the weary!

Carolina BlueJays defeated the Florida Bombers 3-2 to make it into the elite 8.
Their next game is sometime tonight against the winner of the #2 seed Chet Lemon' Juice out of Florida vs the #15 Richmond Braves game .
With the weather they are having, all games have been pushed back or rescheduled.

SCP leading 3-0 vs Orlando Baseball Academy in the top of the 5th. Game suspended due to rain until 8am Saturday. Maybe NC can have 2 of the final 8!
