ya know stiksdad. I have a comment on this. what you said was, well, i dont know if I want to say profound, but very honest, and realistic. look, not everyone can afford the top end. and sometimes, great players, get lost in this. but if a player continues to play the game as well as they can, at the level they can, they will succeed. does it mean they might not get to play for a top rated team, yep, maybe. but doesnt mean they get eliminated either. I see a lot of post (out here anyway) about this, and its like some folks cant see the reasoning, for the practicality. does that make sense? I do not understand when folks fold the entire thing into one envelope. all you have to do is watch ANY big sport. the awesome stories are just that. never give up. so I say, with the statements you made, if you kid understands it, she will succeed to a spot that is relevant. remember, its the education as well that is important. good luck. I appreciate the folks like you give kudos to the those that have gone that extra distance, you understand the payment. awesome.

    On the money

Well said CometFan, well said. I have spent a large amount of time just me and dd traveling down the road to & from practice, lessons & games. We have developed a very tight bond from this and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I know if my dd had the chance to play in a national event I would make it happen no matter what I had to sacrifice for myself to be able to give to her an opportunity. As CometFan said.......... "She will only pass this way one time"

Make the most of ANY & ALL opportunties that comes your dd's way. She will never forget it and you will never regert.
