UNC's McKenney Receives ACC Season Honors

    North Carolina's sophomore catcher Brittany McKenney was recently selected as 2nd Team ACC All Conference. Sunday, she was named to the All Tournament team for the ACC Tournament.

    I was also heard she led the ACC in runners caught stealing and had one of the lowest number of stikeouts per at bats. These stats are also some of the best in the country.

    Nice honors for a young lady I have seen play since she was playing baseball in Little League.

    I know her Dad and Ray Chandler are proud.

    Great year! Britt was a big reason the Heels were in top 20 all year. Nice job by all the Heels and Charlotte locals Alli and Constance.
