Tournament Reminder

[/FONT]At the request of many, the Carolina Cardinals will be holding the 1st Annual Cardinal Fall Classic [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Fastpitch [/FONT]Tournament at Eagle Park (Winthrop University Softball Complex) [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]in Rock Hill, SC [/FONT]on Sept. 19 & 20.

We have approximately 8 spots remaining and we will be full. Would like to have a few more 14U teams enter.

Ages: [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]14U, 16U/18U combined[/FONT]

4 Game Guarantee

Entry Fee: $195

Tournament will accommodate the first 24 teams to enter.

The tournament is designed for teams to "tryout' new players if desired and gives team opportunity to play at 43 ft. pitching distance.

Tournament format is a 4 game guarantee
1 practice game, followed by a 3 game[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif],[/FONT] double elimination bracket.

1 hour 20 minute time limit. Finish the inning. If tied, then ITB.

Free substitution on defense.

Teams may bat entire roster if they desire.

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Pitching distance will be 43 ft for 14U & 16U/18U. Large majority of 14U coaches and high school coaches who were polled, felt 14U should be at 43 ft.[/FONT]

Due to the early interest, we expect this tournament to fill up, so please enter asap. [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Teams entered will be listed at www.ncasafastpitch.com[/FONT]
