To many teams (Legion)

I know that Montgomery forfeited a game and yadkinville did the same. In the old days of legion each team had 18 ball players and 18 ball players would show up to play. In todays legion you might have a team that shows up with just 10 players and they had dig the barrell for those players. These teams forfeited because they did not have enough players to play. Well if you continue to have this problem each year then why have a team? Also, isnt legion made for the best of the best and each team is fighting for a bid for the state finals. If you going to do that, you need the best and you cant worry about the players who get cut because there is always next year. A lot of these teams get organized because a parent gets mad that their son got cut from a team so they are going to organize another team for him to play on. Thats BS. Take the cut like a man try to get better for next years team or go to the next closest legion post and try out there.
