The Lake Norman Lightning 16u showcase tryout

    The Lake Norman Lightning Organization out of Huntersville, NC is holding a 2nd tryout for their new 16u showcase team. We had a great turnout on Sunday and picked up some very solid players. However, we are still looking to fill spots. We are taking our time on this and looking for young ladies who are totally committed to becoming a better player and want to play at a highly competitive level.

    We will hold our tryouts on Wednesday night August 7th at 6:00, on the campus of North Mecklenburg High School. If needed their will be another tryout on Thursday, August 15th at 6:00 as well.

    The head of our organization is the assistant coach at North Mecklenburg High School. He has 1 year of college coaching experience and over 24 years of high school and tournament softball experience and another 8 years of coaching high school baseball. He has been successful as an assistant and head coach on every level.

    We practice on the campus of North Mecklenburg High School and have a weight room so we may develop speed and strength during the off-season
