The Lake Norman Lightning 10-u Tryouts

    The Lake Norman Lightning Organization is based out of Huntersville, NC. We are having tryouts for our 2003 10-u team. Tryouts will be held on August 3rd at 10:00 a.m. on the campus of North Mecklenburg High School.

    The 10-u team has had a very successful spring/summer season but we are losing 6 girls to our 12-u team. We are wanting to have an all 2003 team with select 2004 girls. We are sanctioned with Top Gun and NSA. We have a great core of girls returning but are looking for all positions especially pitchers and catchers. We are looking for girls that have a great work ethic, are aggressive on defense and on offense, a desire to become a better player, has a passion for the game and are very coachable.

    Our head coach has over 20 plus years of coaching experience in travel and high school softball and is the assistant coach for North Mecklenburg. Our coaching staff is very knowledgable in all aspects of the game and work hard for the girls that represent The Lake Norman Lightning Organization
