    Statesvillle Owls Season Tickets are now on sale just in time for the Holidays. To celebrate our inagural season the Statesville Owls have put together an exclusive TBR SPECIAL GIFT PACKAGE that will be awarded to one lucky TBR Memeber or Guest purchasing their season tickets between 11/20/09 and 12/30/09. In order to qualify please indicated TBR on your check or money order. The winner will be announced on TBR on 01/01/10.

    Something happened recently that was really cool...and a great idea. One of our members bought 2 season tickets for the purpose of donating them to the Boys and Girls Club. We will make arrangements with them to ensure that a director of the club or an associate will chaperon a kid to each game.

    I thought that was a great idea. What a neat way to get kids normally looking for something to do, to get involved in baseball. We will ensure they have a hands-on experience by meeting the players or perhaps let them be the batboy/girl for the game.

    I started thinking this would be great to do for the retirement homes in the area. They love baseball and would give them something to get involved in.

    So my thoughts are many TBR members may not live around the Statesville area, but you can still be involved. If you choose to buy donated Season tickets, let us know what area you would like to see the tickets go to--Big Brothers, B&G's Club, Retirement homes or any other well deserving areas that would give someone a chance to have a great experience.

    Of course, we would love to have you there, too---so buy as many tickets as you can afford. I promise you will get your money's worth.

    I'm not sure. I have missed the past couple of meetings. But I can say this with some confidence: Ryan wins!!!! The Dull's are in free :fan_wave2:
