    The came was called after two innings of play due to a huge thunder storm.
    The score was Butler 3, Prov. 1
    The game is scheduled to be continued this evening (fri. the 16) at 6:00 at Butler H.S. Please note the new location.

    Butler beat Providence by three to one in seven, all runs were scored before the rain yesterday. the five innings played today were mostly three up three down for both teams. Providence did get one base runner to first on an error but two pitcher later she was thrown out attempting to steal.
    Best of luck to the Panthers in there playoff games, they are a fine bunch of girls.
