    The Basketball Elite Southeast Summer Showcase returns this year with more courts and a high quality staff to help players work on their game and gain exposure in front of scouts and college coaches. We are very proud of our staff and encourage you to check out their profiles here.

    Several players who attended last year's showcase are now playing in college or have college offers. This is not an event where we just 'roll out the balls'. Players attending this event should be looking to play at the next level, regardless of whether that is Division I, Division II or Division III. All of the coaches are active high school coaches, with experience in college and the NBA.

    Recruiting experts will be on hand to talk to parents, and will be giving a presentation on the realities of getting recruited to play college.

    Basketball Elite scouts players in AAU, high school, college and the pros, including the Chris Paul elite guard camp, the Jordan Brand Classic and the Bob Gibbons tournaments. Coverage will be provided by several other recruiting services and media, including Justin Byerly of Carolina Preps, Dime magazine, and the US Basketball Writers Association. Last year's event was also covered by TV News 14 Carolina and they are expected to return.

    This camp includes several of the top regional prospects and some national prospects. Last year's MVP, Tony Nunn (offers: Charlotte, Cinncinati) and last year's dunk champion Craig Hinton (offer: Winston-Salem State) are both returning.

    The top purpose of this event is to walk out the gym as a better player than you arrived.

    The second purpose is to be scouted and raise your profile in an environment where scouts and coaches can see your overall game.

    This will be a chance to participate in one of the best events of the summer:

    * Elite skills mini camp by position

    * High school coaches running all on court games & drills

    * Experienced high school referees

    * Reversible Event Jerseys

    * Guaranteed minimum of two games with a chance to play in the all-star game

    * All games will be filmed in HD and made available to scouting services and coaches across the country

    * Attending parents and players will recieve valuable recruiting insight from guest expert speakers

    * Division II, Division III, JuCo and NAIA college coaches in attendance

    * MVP Award

    * Media Coverage

    * Dunk Contest

    Cost: $90, Deadline to register: April, 20 2012.
