Yeah this is the last year and It probably is their best....however those 3A teams (Hibriten, Foard, SS and Hickory) will be trouble next year. Watauga, South and AC will have their hands full thats for sure.

    sorry guys....

Sorry, but I had to work last night.(Must have jinxed NC)LOL.

Newton-Conover loses a heart breaker 26-21 but had many chances to win. Hibriten fumbled twice in the 1st qtr. inside NC territory and NC couldn't move the ball. According to FM 103.3 last night NC had a chance to win with approx. 2 min. to go when AJ Bazzle throws an Int. Hibriten then runs the clock down to approx. 25 sec. and turns it over on downs. NC then throws two incomplete passes(almost intercepted) and finally an incomplete pass as time expires. I hated to miss that one, but believe the score should have been more in favor of Hibriten. ***I graduated from Newton, so that is hard to admit....LOL****

    Bandys beats SS in 2OT
Hickory beats Patton on last minute FG
Bunker Hill vs Maiden PPD til Monday
    Foard rolls big
