The Meredith Avenging Angels split a double header with the Lynchburg Hornets this afternoon.

Sparked by a solo HR by Kate Moye who just returned from injury, the Angels rallied and scored 4 runs in the top of the 7th to defeat the 7th ranked Hornets 4 - 1.

Jordan Smith pitched a 1 hit gem for the Angels.

Lynchburg came back and won the second game 6 - 0.

    Way to go Angels!
