softball combine and all-star showcase just announced

    Southern Star Softball and Dr. Dot Richardson and the staff at the National Training Center in Clermont, FL have teamed up and would like to invite the nation’s top girl’s fastpitch softball players to the inaugural combine and all-star showcase event in Clermont, FL August 28-29, 2010. Clermont, FL is located just West of Orlando, FL. This is an addition to the All-Star showcase already scheduled for August 21-22, 2010 at Lovejoy Regional Park in Hampton, GA.

    The National Training Center is a state of the art athletic training facility equipped with professionally cared for softball fields and dozens of other on site facilities for training in many other sports. It is a top of the line complex that has already attracted the attention of the top college teams in America this spring. This will soon become the premier softball venue in the South. National powers UCLA, OKLAHOMA, TENNESSEE, GEORGIA all played there this spring along with dozens of other colleges from across the US. Dr. Dot Richardson has brought the expertise that helped her establish herself as one of the greatest women's softball players of all times to this facility. The softball combine will be held the morning of August 28 and can be participated in seperate from the All-Star event or in conjuction with. More details will be forthcoming.
