If you want to improve and you want instruction and you are serious about doing what it takes to be the best you can be showcase baseball has nothing to do with this. Showcase baseball is what you do after you have done alot of this.

What will determine what kind of player you are going to be has nothing to do with what showcase team you are on or who sees you play. It has everything to do with what you are doing when no one is watching and how determined you are to be the best you can be.

I will get into this later but you need to have a game plan. And it doesnt start your jr or sr year.

 

Coach, I've heard you say this for 2 years now, and I believe you and agree. I'm just saying you hear a lot to the contrary. While you can and should learn and improve during showcase, you prepare away from showcase.

Treat the game with effort, love and respect ... that's all you can control . I just hope these kids don't forget to enjoy the game while they can , because even for the best players it will be gone too soon !

 

Impact Tournaments

Here in NC, the Impact tournaments are already somewhat exclusive. I'm sure AP turns away quite a few teams for each event. This benefits the teams that do get in as well as the players on those teams. The college coaches and the scouts know they will see quality on the field at these tournaments.
