Mooresville seems to do alot of little things wrong these days. Leading 10-6 and inside the Warrior 10 with only seconds remaining in the first half, they throw in interception. After the break, WI pooches the second half kick-off into a Mooresville dead zone, recovers the ball, and scores on the next play from scrimmage. On the ensuing kick-off WI kicks it to the very same player and this time it bounces off his chest right to the WI on-rushers.........they score again. After battling hard the entire game, Mooresville loses all their momentum and is now trailing 18-10 within a span of less than 2 minutes gone in the 3rd quarter. This sloppy play seems to resurface time and time again these days for the Blue Devils. You can beat the lesser teams playing sloppy football but you wont beat ANYBODY else. I will credit the Warriors with the come from behind victory and acknowledge their heady coaching staff but the Devils will need to shoulder alot of the blame themselves. They now stand at 2-4 (1-1) and will host the unbeaten W. Rowan Falcons this Friday.

....and a defensive team cannot advance any turn-over in OT. The ball shall be blown dead, which is what the official did. I heard the whistle when the kick was blocked. He kept blowing it as our defender ran down the field too.
