Go easy on this subject. Not gonna tolerate accusations of particular programs.

If your not cheating, your not trying...

I'm not quite following your question....could be me so lets not rule that out...

But are you wanting to know can you do it or do people do it under the radar?

Not attacking any program, player, parent or coach. What I am saying is knowing that some programs recruite other players by in so many words, promises of the grass is better over here or to keep them from another team. I was looking for what the board thinks is acceptable. If a player approaches a teams or attends a try out one thing. But I have seem and heard of they stoled this player or offered them a (special) invite to play. We are all adults here for the most part. This is an honest question. If one attackes another the greater aboves can handle that.

I'm not flaming anyone or any school either however I have witnessed first hand "encouragement" from coaches at other high schools. We just ignored it and moved on.

I know that colleges recruiting is on going. It is expected and there are guidelines that are in place that we hope arte followed. I am mostly talking about High School Level, Showcase & Non Showcase Travel teams. I look at it more so from a doing the right thing. I have heard of cases where coaches send out parents to recuite a kid that is commented to another team with the intent on stealing (adj) that player. Thing is that they are looking to improve on a team that already has top players and are successful. During the season. Then if it happens the coach is like they just came out.

Only happens if you let it

This does go on, but probably not at a level where it should be of great concern. I had this experience when I played, but my dad told me to judge it for what it is worth and be loyal to those that have been loyal to me, which I did. So, this goes to the character of the people involved and most of the time the good guys make the right decision.
