Quick hands at the bat

    Went to a few college games this spring. Certainly no expert here, but in watching the batters, the one thing I kept noticing over and over was the guys getting the best results had the quick hands / wrists. Minimum lost motion and getting the bat in the hitting zone in a flash. From point A to point B in an instant. A quick compact motion; get the business part of the bat in contact with the ball with minimum body movement.

    I may start World War III, but most quick swings IMHO are not due to hand speed but some form of efficent body motion which ties the hands, arms and core to move in unison.
