    August 23rd (JM Robinson HS) - Pro Scout Day - 10am

    Do you know where you stack up to the competition or againsts today's major league players?

    Core Athletics (www.MyCoreAthletics.com, Concord, NC) is holding a pro scout day with MLB scouts out to evaluate and educate players. You will complete a pro scout tryout of the five tools and then we will put together your results to inform you of the ratings showing your areas of strengths and weaknesses along with tips to improve or enhance. This annual event is a great way to measure your growth and development as you work and train throughout the year. This will give you a foundation to talk to college coaches and a realistic view of your abilities.

    Wow...an impressive list of scouts. Those they believe they have pro potential, what a nice way to find out if you have the talent. Most times it is rare to get individual feedback.

    I have had several calls about getting signed from this camp!!! This scout day is designed to help high school players understand their abilities and where they fit into the big picture. This is not an open tryout for these teams.

    IF you can throw over 95 mph with a hammer, then you could be signed, but if not then no chance.
