    The Perfect Game WWBA Underclass Championship kicks off this weekend in Ft. Myers, Florida.

    North Carolina teams competing in the event are the South Charlotte Panthers, On Deck O's, Impact Dirtbags-17, Impact Dirtbags-16.


    The SC Panthers schedule is:

    Friday 10/7 .......... 10:00a vs. Hammertime Performance, Royal Palm, FL.

    .......................... 3:00p vs. Puerto Rico Reds, Toa Baja, PR

    Saturday 10/8.......... 7:00p vs. Florida Bombers, Miami, FL.

    Sunday 10/9 ........... 2:00p vs. Treasure Coast Young Guns, Palm City, FL.

    The undeafeted Panthers took on the undeafeted Bombers for first in the pool and with the win the Panthers will advance.

    The On Deck O's beat two quality teams today to put themselves in position to advance. The Dirtbags-17 lost one and are now 2-1 and in good position. The Dirtbags-16 have lost a couple and have their backs to the wall. No details available.

    The South Charlotte Panthers bats went cold and lost their final pool game 2-1. In spite of the loss they advanced to the final 16 as the pool winner.In the Round of 16 the Panthers were beaten by the East Cobb Astros-17; 4-0.

    The games this morning are the final 8 in the tournament, so both On Deck and the Dirtbags are doing well, making it to the quarterfinals.

    On Deck O's '07's update: They are in the bottom of the first with one out and are up 3 to 1 versus the East Cobb Astros. On Deck is the visiting team in this game. No update yet from the Dirtbags.
