Percy Evans to Barton

    Percy Evans of Cary HS has decided to attend Barton College and play for Coach Wilkinson.

    Just a heads up to those who have asked me about him, and also a shout out to a good kid from a great family. After several coaching changes during his high school career, P never gave up hope or sight of playing on the next level. He worked hard and was a true team leader his senior season. He really got noticed this summer in Legion ball. I wish him all the luck in the world at Barton, on the field and in the classroom.

    Congrats

    I have been fortunate to have seen Percy play over the years in the Sanderson vs Cary games. Percy plays the game with a great attitude and will do well at the next level. All of your hard work has paid off for you so congratulations to you and your parents.

    I remember Percy back when he was an 8 yr old in Coach pitch...nice to see kids continue playing, geez I wish I had another inning...
