I am looking for some assistance in charting AAA baseball at the Charlotte Knights games this coming season. Especially need someone that could work businessmen specials (day games played during week days).

You would have to chart everything that happens in a game from Awarding RBIs to Wild pitches, with the exception of the type of pitch and pitch velocity.

You should have knowledge on how to score a game and preferably previous experience in doing so. Beyond scoring, you will be required to judge batted ball flight paths and velocities, recognize and record offensive plays (hit and run, squeeze, etc.) even when the pitch is fouled off, and a number of other items. Accuracy is a must.

After the game, you would be required to enter the data into a baseball scoring program and upload it for tabulation, where teams use the information in preparing various reports. There are time constraints in having the data uploaded within a reasonable period.

The software would be provided and I would train interested applicants selected. Beyond making Bob Uecker envious by sitting in the front row, you would be compensated for your parking and be paid a stipend for each game worked. An accuracy bonus is available as well as incentive program to do a large number of games.

Need to be fairly close (hour) to the stadium. You would indicate on which game days you are available each month and be assigned to games based upon the schedule you submit. Usually there is a second person assigned to the game as well.

All in all, it’s a pretty good gig. You get to watch baseball and get paid to do so. If interested send me a PM.

    Great Job

I would love to do that job fulltime BUT spotting hotties in the stands would cause my accuracy to suffer greatly. I would end up getting fired.

Why do you think I put you in the front row?

If I park the TBR RV in the parking lot I might could retire. I'll have to get it towed down from Shelby though. Braves unhooked the mules and let them wander off the last time he borrowed it.

What a cool job...man, someone needs to snatch this up quick. Can you imagine if this could lead to other positions when the team moves uptown?

I might be getting ahead of myself, but wow..talking about getting one's foot in the proverbial door.

I would look into maybe a student that is taking sports related courses at UNCC or another college around. They could even get class credit.

I would nominate dbacks, but I can't confirm that he can read, pay attention or be dependable...but he is a great guy and will give you 100% effort when there.
