One playoff game Thursday night

    The playoff game between #15 East Gaston (7-4) and #10 High Point Central (8-3) will be played on Thursday night at Simeon Stadium in High Point. This is because HPC and T. Wingate Andrews both share the city's stadium and HPC got a home game by defeating Tuscola on a late field goal last week.

    Last season, the same thing happened and Andrews played a Thursday night playoff contest. So the schools switched this season, which is the correct move. #5 Southern Vance (7-4) visits the #4 ranked Red Raiders (9-2) Friday night.

    Wish I had Friday off so I could see that one. Just can't bring myself to drive from Boiling Springs to High Point and back, then go to work Friday morning.

    I guess the entire coaching staff of the winning team will be scouting our game with Ashbrook on Friday.

    in Gaston county all evening and unable to find the radio station covering the game?? Great year to East Gaston win or loss!

    missed the radio, missed TANKS thread and East Gaston lost; but a great evening with wife and youngest dd, super meal and wife's turn to drive!
