Watauga and Davie could go either way. Insane atmosphere though. Fireworks hells bells, and enter sandman will be wild.

Guys, I must say that I am really pumped that today is gameday. Davie/Watauga and Enka/McDowell are two pretty good matchups to start the season. I got a good feeling that the Titans will open up with an impressive showing, especially on the offensive side of the ball. I'm just hoping the Titan defense learned from their showing last week at Lake Norman, I think McDowell wins by 10-14 points.

    Here's hoping!!!!!!!!

Gosh, I would like to be bold and spout some fabulous nugget about why McDowell is going to win, but I know absolutely nothing about Enka. I am hoping McDowell makes minimal mistakes, the kicking games comes through unscathed and they don't get too cute with their offensive play-calling.

They have Thoroughbred. I hope they let him out of the barn and let'em run to the green grass.

    Same Turd different Punch Bowl!

Well I went a watched Mcdowell play tonight and here are some quick observations.

Red Zone offense- Please work on it this week.

Zone Option-tell the QB if he pitches before the defensive end collapses, you might as well be running a sweep play.

Linemen-Get off your keysters and Block!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's kick the extra point next time please!!!!

Offsides kicks are for the end of the game not with five minutes left and two or three timeouts.

And finally, when the best player on the field only plays one way, your are cutting yourself short. Kincaid needs to be playing on defense. He could have just as easily won the game from the defensive side as the offensive side.

    My two cents...

    Otis; Who won????

    South Caldwell 28
    Fred T Foard 0

SC looked suprisingly good tonight. Offense did a good job just need to work on our play calling. Against the really good teams we will have to open it up a little bit or we're hurting. Special teams (kicking) wasn't to good. Especially kickoffs. SC probablly won't win the conference but they should win a few games. All in all a good first game.
Also got to see the baseball team get their state championship rings at halftime

    East Burke 21 Maiden 20

EB holds on after leading 21-0 at the half, Maiden scores with 45 seconds left in game and went for the win, :stunned:
