Not a proud week for Forbush

Wow, I sure hope it didn't really happen. A few years ago a similar situation happened at one of our local high schools(No names will be given) (Not Newton-Conover, it was a beginning program) but during wrestling season. I was an assistant and also ran the club program as well as the peewee kids. The students were told (by the head coach)not to say anything or they would run extra at practice. I stepped down that minute and called the principle and athletic director. After a long investigation, the school board did find him quilty and he no longer coaches/teaches in NC. The problem I witnessed in this case was that the parents did not stand up for their kids and was afraid to hold a meeting to discuss what happened. We dealt with most of our problems "in house" and it worked for years. I do keep in touch with the kids and have a couple in college now trying to make a difference.
