    Congrats go out to the Nighthawks for winning the 3AA State Championship in Carter Finley Stadium in Raleigh last night. Seated 7th in the tourney,they defeated 4 conference champions to get there. They beat a very good Crest team and could have gone either way, but it didn't. It goes to show you that the coaches opinion poll were way off base on this one.

    Probadly the game of the day. Crest scores with 15 seconds to go & misses the PAT. Heart-breaking loss for Crest. Great finish for the Nighthawks.
