    That was a smart move on their part...to get a coach looking to not move for the next 5 years will be important to try to build that program back...it will take a lot of work...but more importantly, a commitment from a coach to do so.

    I believe they have found the right man and I'm glad they went outside the state to find one. Most coaches in Charlotte are waiting to see when they can move to Union County.

    looks like High Point will be looking for two new coaches

    first Dave Mizell gets the boot from Andrews as both AD and football coach as a result of the player ineligibility scandals and now High Point Central loses a helluva coach in Gary Whitman.

    I'm sure Lexington is glad to have Whitman back.

    Huge loss for HP Central. He was one heck of a coach.
