My DD future husband and his family moved up here from Fla. He is 21 and his brother is 18 They were asking me about a senior legion league (18 and 0ver) the dad has coached for years and said they had one in Fla.
Im from the Fastpitch side and would like help in finding out about any teams or leagues for these two.
    Thanks

Ray, the one brother (18) can play Legion ball here. His assignment team is based on where they live. Also, depending on when he will turn 19, he could play at that age also. Senior leagues for the 21 yo...I've been out of the loop since I quit playing several years ago, but I'm sure someone on here can fill us in.

Braves ... you mis-spelled a word here. The correct spelling is:
    "...quit playing several D-E-C-A-D-E-S ago....."

no,no,no,no....I played in that Roy Hobbs league a few years ago. That's about as Senior as you can get

I quit playing because they refused to allow me to have a pinch runner after I hit the ball....and I'm not talking about from 1st base.

I meet the father, 21 year old and the 18 year old tonight. They stopped by the Pinevillel Post 337 vs. Gastonia 23 game @ South Meck. They stopped by to talk to one of the Pineville Post 337 coaches who thought that he might have some leads for these brothers to help keep them in shape through the summer months but I think that they are both above the legion age to play with the legion teams around the area unless it might be an older men's baseball league somewhere?!? Hope everything works out for this family and that they make a lot of friends here in the Charlotte area.
