Need a pitcher for this weekend!

I am coaching a team in the Impact Baseball Wood Bat showcase over at ECU this weekend, July 3-5. I have one pitcher that may not be able to participate due to American Legion dual participation rules, one out of town and another pitcher who is recovering from an injury during the American Legion season. I am looking to add a pitcher for this tournament and maybe for the season if they are interested in a low pressure, low cost situation to play against some good competition. I am looking for a kid that can hold his own against teams like the 16U and 17U Dirtbags. I'm not saying he has to have the ability to shut down a team like that but I'm looking for an above average arm with high character. Preferably born after May 1, 1992. This team is 16U / 2011. It is OK if they are 17 now as long as they turned 17 after May 1, 2009. It is probably ok for this tournament if they are older but I am not sure. We play the 16U DB, 17U DB, GBC Orange, and GBC Royal this weekend. If you know of a deserving player who is not already committed for the weekend you can PM me or post up here. I don't mind sharing my number if required.

BTW, does anyone know the American Legion dual participation rules. If a team is in the state playoffs and the playoffs don't start for a couple of weeks I don't see why a player could not play a showcase this weekend; especially if they only throw 3 or 4 innings. I could understand if both were going on at the same time - a player would have to choose.

I know most if not all their teams are playing at ECU this weekend.

 

DB's are playing 17U and down...No 18U team this wek.
