NCAA Wrestling Tournament

    Mikal McKee dropped his first round match of the tournament to Josh Patterson who led the nation in wins. He was in good company. A #1, #2, #3, #4, and 4 #5 seeds lost in the first round. There were several matchups in first round consolation between 2 All Americans. At least 1 returning champ is out of the competition. The SoCon's one All American from last year, Cody Cleveland went 0-2.
    Mikal regrouped and put a beat down on Anthony Biondi of Michigan 11-4 and it wasn't as close as that sounds. Mikal scored 5 takedowns on Biondi who was ranked 13th in the nation going into the tournament.
    He closed out against Alex Dolly, Northern Iowa, who picked up the 10-5 win.
    Mikal finished the season with 33 wins, second only to Darren Burns 35 wins as a senior, a SoCon championship and making it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
