Closing thoughts:

West Rowan's potent offense never really showed up, credit great pitching efforts by WB's pitchers for that. Congratulations to the Trojans on a well earned Championship.

Congratulations to Chris Bland on winning the MVP trophy. In my opinion, he would've won it even if West Rowan had won. I understand he will be going to Elon on a football scolly. If I were the baseball coach there I would certainly be interested in him playing baseball too.

Congratulations to West Rowan on a great season. It has been a great privilege for me to have watched the seniors on this team for the last 10 years develop into such fine young men as well as good ball players. Good luck to each and every one of them in what ever their futures hold.

I would have loved to have been in your shoes watching all those games RC... i did get to see a few over the last 6 years.... even though the seniors didnt meet all their goals ( winning the state ) most have proven they are worthy of going onto college and / or pro ball to play.
I'm proud of all the WR players i have been associated with in the past .

Hope Ryan , Luke and Chris are in red tonight..

 

Congrats on a fine run to all WR players, parents and supporters. From someone sitting on the other side of the diamond these last few years, I can tell you that you guys were the best that we had seen. Its a shame that you could not have won it all, you certainly were very deserving. I am as surprised as anyone. What a fine ball team and program you have over there. Good luck to Ryan in the future...enjoy college...listen to your dad!
