NC/SC Challenge

    Haven't seen this noted on TBR but there is a NC/SC Challenge scheduled for July 6th-8th down in Florence, SC. Should be an exciting 3-day slate of baseball.

    Sumter (SC)
    Florence (SC)
    Rock Hill (SC)
    Garner (NC)
    Cherryville (NC)
    Wilmington (NC)

    I need to get clarification on which Wilmington team is playing, but I imagine that it is Post 10 (New Hanover crowd).

    "July 6th (at South Florence High)
    7:00 - Florence vs. Garner

    July 7th (at Legion Stadium)
    11:00 - Rock Hill vs. Wilmington
    1:30 - Rock Hill vs. Garner
    4:30 - Sumter vs. Cherryville
    7:00 - Florence vs. Wilmington

    July 8th (at Legion Stadium)
    11:00 - Rock Hill vs. Cherryville
    1:30 - Sumter vs. Garner
    4:30 - Sumter vs. Wilmington
    7:00 - Florence vs. Cherryville

    **Games are 7 innings with a 5th inning 10-run rule if needed. 9 total games, state with best overall record "wins." Hope to see a good crowd of fans from North Carolina make the trip."
