    Montreat's doubleheader against the AAC's pre-season ranked #1 team Union College, took place March 18, 2008, Montreat split the doubleheader

    1st game Montreat 3 Union 9
    LP Amanda Wolfe
    Erin Cross went 2-4 at the plate

    2nd game Montreat 6 Union 4
    WP Lacy Robinson

    Amy Vogel (Jr., Hayes, NC) had an outstanding defensive game at 3rd base

    Erin Cross (So, Morganton, NC), Brittany Burns (Sr., Charlotte, NC) and Amber Summerow (Jr., Lenoir, NC) all went 2-for-3 in game two.

    Those Lady Cavs are getting some wins, that is a good thing now that they are in conference play!
