Three in a row....way to go Coach Marsh...You won't even beat South Rowan a team that hasn't scored all year. Come back Carter or Pinyan or any body that can help us. Please hurry!!!!:

well, they've won 2 straight (2-3, 1-0), both over winless teams (S. Rowan and Statesville). a trip to W. Iredell this Friday could bring them back to the .500 mark or send them reeling again as W. Rowan comes to town the following week. the Mooresville pass defense is not playing well and i dont know if they have the players to get it right. this was a known weak spot coming into the season. they have been torched in all but 2 games (AC and SR). offensively, they changed to the spread offense that everybody's running these days. only thing is that their QB has never played the position until this season. he is a senior and is a really good athlete. but he is really green and his passes have no touch. he gets run to death, much of it is on him as he is reading the defense before pulling the ball out (of the RB) and running on his own. Mooresville is also terribly young, the youngest Blue Devil team in recent memory. all these factors, along with a brutal non-conference schedule has them behind the 8 ball for sure. they may win enough to make the watered down NCHSAA playoffs due to a weak NPC, but a road trip will surely await them at a much higher seed. last year's #16 seed, 4-8 team, played at #1 seed W. Rowan in the first round. at least the bus ride home, after the loss, was a short trip.
