Meredith Felts, JMU, Pitcher is going....

    ....to Europe this summer to play for the Mannheim Tornados! THATS AWESOME!
    I remember this kid when she was playing rec ball, TB, and HS ball.
    I remember telling my DD that to be a real hitter, she's gonna have to learn how to hit the best. At that time I think my DD was 10 and and Meredith was 14. I don't know if my kid ever actually faced Felts, but I know she watched her pitch alot.
    I want to thank Meredith for being a role model for my kid without ever knowing it!

    She's there!

    On behalf of Meredith thanks so much for the kind words. This experience is a reward for spending all those hot summers in Florence (SC not Italy!). Here's a link to her team. She'll also be the pitching coach for the club's college/HS age team.
