The other day after South Caldwell and North Davidson's losses. I heard nothing form the TV sports guys about either. I sent an email and maded my disappointment known. I was surprised that the next day I recived a call. They thanked me for bring it to thier attention. I asked as everyone would have. Why? He told me that covering other hs sports were difficult. He say that football easy. This was due to one game per week they have time to go out and get good footage of plays and can work in many in one night. And during football and basketball there are very few sports being played. As other sports different playing schedules distance between games. And getting enough good footage. Then he went on to say sharing info between TV stations and getting info from coaches on games. He stated that they had an event for area ADs and they had little success with it. Just in thier market over 90 schools. Knowing that there is a solution. It seems it is going to have to start with the coaches and ADs of all schools to workout what would be easy to promote their sport. Then going to the media and work outthe rest.
