The Lake Norman Lightning 14u team is looking for "99" girls that play SS or utility player. We are holding tryouts on Tuesday, August 20th and Thursday, August 22nd at 6:00 on the campus of North Mecklenburg High School in Huntersville, NC. We are a successful and competitive team and are associated with ASA, NSA and Top Gun. We are looking for girls that want to compete at a high level and have won Championships in Top Gun "AA" bracket and finished second in NSA tournaments...always competitive at every level. We plan on taking this team and playing ASA showcase in the future.

Our head coach is the assistant softball coach for North Mecklenburg High School. He has over 24 plus years of softball coaching experience...1 in college and the rest in high school and tournament ball. He also has another 8 years of coaching experience in high school baseball. Our coaches are very knowledgable and experienced in every aspect of the game. We work on fundamentals and game concepts in every practice. Our coaching staff works hard for the girls that represent The Lake Norman Lightning Organization.

If you are a competitive player and you want to compete on a team that is successful and competitive then we look forward to hearing from you.

If you are interested in a tryout contact our head coach Thomas Strahan at 704-726-6492 or e-mail him at [email protected] it is not required that you call or sign up for tryout just show up...mostly contacting allows our organization to plan appropriately.
