Lenoir CC in World Series

    LCC (50-12) has advanced to the semifinals of the D2 JUCO World Series and will face LSU-Eunice on Tuesday night. LCC has posted wins over Western Oklahoma State (6-2) and Grand Rapids (5-4, walk-off double).

    Way to go LCC. I know the guys are enjoying it. I had the opportunity to play for LCC in the world series and it's something I will never forget. We went 1-2 out there, but it looks like the boys have a good shot at winning it all this year.

    Tuesday night vs LSU-Eunice will be tough. LSU-Eunice looks identical to LSU.

    LCC (53-10) down 6-3 after 2 1/2 to LSU-Eunice (studs).

    Game was delayed due to rain.

    LCC loses to LSU-Eunice 13-3.

    LCC topped Monroe (NY) CC, 5-4 in the loser's bracket. LCC will face LSU-Eunice once again on Thursday at 7:30ct. LCC must beat LSU-Eunice twice to win the title, if I am correct.
