LaRonda McClain - Wingate

LaRonda McClain, graduated from Wingate University this year. She was a student at Kings Mtn High School and played travel ball for me for many years. She was, and is still my daughters best friend, and will always be my adopted daughter. For those who know LaRonda, you just cant find a better young lady, and she always had that killer smile.

Her are some of the accomplishments she racked up at Wingate.

All-Southeast Region choice
named North Carolina Collegiate Sports Informaiton Association All-state team

hit .377 in her senior year

finished first in school history in walks
finished second in school history in hits
finished second in school history in stolen bases
finished second in school history in at bats.
finished third in school history in runs.

Ra Ra, you've come a long way, from a wispy, long legged, never stopped talking 9 year old to the fantastic ball player that Jay and I knew you could be and you became. We love ya kid, we're all proud of ya and I'm proud to say that you've been an important part of our lives and we've all been better because of it.

Here's a kid who worked hard for the dream and make it work for her.....

thanks coach Caddigan for taking care of my kid and pushing her to the top level she played at...thanks for being a mentor to my daughter.
