The Lake Norman Lightning is based out of Huntersville, NC. We are an established organization that is competitive. Our coaches have years of experience in tournament softball and our the head of our organization and head coach of the 14-u team is a high school coach with over 21 years of experience in high school and tournament softball. Our 12-u team is looking for 1 pitcher to go a long with the two we have. We have one really strong pitcher and another that we are bringing along. We are looking for a third pitcher that can be one of our two top pitchers. There is plenty of mound time for the right girl. We are looking for a young lady that has 3 strong pitches and maybe working on a 4th (the 4th is not a requirement). She has to have a solid defensive glove...we are not looking for a girl that is a flame thrower but a girl that has control and can hit spots. We are looking for a catcher with solid defensive skills that we can build upon. We have developed some solid catchers that not only play for us but now start as freshmen on their high school teams or girls that started for their middle school teams. We are also looking for a utility player that has a solid glove no matter where we play her and has a strong arm. We are also looking for these players to have a solid bat.

Parents if you are interested in your daughter trying out for The Lake Norman Lightning please contact Thomas Strahan at 704-726-6492 or e-mail him at [email protected]
