Just tooling around and found this video

Nothing more than showcasing, but it was fun to watch and the girls feet work were really interesting for me to see.

it's good to see girls having fun with fielding. So many of the "advanced" infielders you see are very mechanical. They're solid fielders but lack the flair that is in this video. I have a son who is now playing college ball and he played ss, as well as pitched, growing up. One of the best compliments he ever got on his fielding was from a scout who is a Dominican. He said my son played ss like a "latino". My DD has some of that also. She's made plays throwing from her knees and even from he butt! We have a dvd from when she was eight, and playing baseball with the boys, where she dove for a ball at ss and threw a kid out at first while sitting on her rear. The best part was the hitter's expression after he was called out!
The lesson to be learned here is that no matter how many hitting, pitching or fielding lessons you take, it really comes down to playing. Play equals fun! The more fun it is the better you'll play!
