P, I was excited to see Kyle listed on the On Deck team. Also recognized a few of our member's kids on the team. Are you down at Fort Myers this week and will you be going to Jupiter?

Good luck in this tournament and in Jupiter!!!

Hey T - its been awhile. I have been reading all the time - but not posting much.

I hope TJ is having fun and doing well and please say hello to him for me.

This is Kyle's 3rd year with the O's. He loves it. He played up the last two years and this year stayed with his own age group - which I think was really a good thing for him. He has worked very very hard the last couple years and it is starting to pay off.

We just got back from Ft. Myers - and we played well - lost two games by 1 run - including the last one to the eventual champs. Kyle had a very solid tournament - played CF the whole time. Got some big hits and made some nice plays - but not happy with losing, Who is? LOL

I wont be going to Jupiter this year - we all need a bit of rest from traveling - but the college thing is starting to occur. I cant believe we have to do this again. LOL

One note from Ft. Myers - Quenton Miller - remember that name. Kid played for East Cobb Braves - kid is from NJ - about 5'11 175 - absolutely lights out pitcher who pitched possibly the best game I have ever seen in a youth tournament.

The talent in Ft Myers was - as always - remarkable.
IMO - All of our NC boys played well and represented NC with class, talent and intensity.

My best to you and your family.

    Going to the big tournaments.

Do you have to be on a team season roster to go to these exciting tournaments that i am always reading about on the posts. My son's travel team doesn,t go to those types of tournaments and i would love for him to play against some of the best talent in other states. If someone has the answer please let me know. Thanks

If you are not on one of the teams participating, you can request an invite to, perhaps, join a team put together by Perfect Game. Check out this website. I believe it can answer all of your questions.
