    With only TWO weeks counting down for the opening under what temps and conditions does a coach decide to practice and even play indoors or outside? Hm interesting replies I am sure to follow! :)

    At Watauga we go outside no matter what the conditions or Temp. It can be raining, sleeting, snowing, or whatever. We will be out there when official practice starts. We have to go out in the elements because of the messed up weather in Boone. If you waited for nice weather in Boone you wouldn't get to ever practice. We do however have an indoor facility that we use quite often for station work and extra hitting. It is a very nice luxury to have an indoor place where you can go but baseball is an outside sport and at Watauga we go out as much as possible.

    i hate indoor practices. we go out antime possible. bundle up and let's go

    Agreed... outside whenever possible, we have practiced till the field was white with snow here...

    BTW, some ppl say we have the coldest weather here east of the Mountains, if it isnt wet, we are outside...

    I HATE INDOOR PRACTICES
